Overlooking the bay just 200 yards from Torre Abbey beach The Heritage Hotel Complex features a prime south facing location in the heart of Torquay. The hotel has 24 bedrooms of which the majority of rooms have sea views. All rooms have private bathrooms with either a shower or a bath. All rooms have hairdryers toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. There is free wifi throughout the hotel. Sky TV features in all rooms except the 3 garden rooms which are Freeview. There is also a health club complex attached consisting of an indoor pool which guests have access to for a small charge. The Heritage Hotel complex also features Appleby's the adjoining bar and restaurant which is one of Torquay's best-known destination venues featuring bay views a spacious bar and lounge area with large-screen HD TVs showing live sports. The bar also has a large sun terrace which you can relax on and soak up the sun. The Venue hosts live music on a daily basis. The restaurant offers a variety of breakfast options to include continental and cooked options. Delicious lunch and evening meals are also served seven days a week. The Heritage Hotel is just a short walk from Torquay harbor the Riviera Conference Center Princess Theater and town center shops. The hotel has its own car park and is next to a large public car park. The car park is free and is on a first come first serve basis.

Liked: Excellent Breakfast, great value for money, ideal location, good to have a Car Park
Disliked: A better mattress, the property was a little dated, but then so are most Torquay Hotels. I thought that the Bar prices were rather high.

Great place to stay for...

Liked: From the time of arrival to when I left, I was welcome from staff to fellow holiday makers, the room was clean, breakfast was good and easy to get
Disliked: The only thing against it, was on a hill, so if you have walking issues, it's not a holiday/break for you. They don't cook on Monday or Tuesday evenings, but are able to find places nearby

Liked: The breakfast was excellent with a good choice.
Disliked: The hotel is reaching the point that a refurbishment would bring it back to its former self.
