A comfortable night stop.

Liked: It was a comfortable night stop in an excellent location for my needs. A nice dinner and breakfast.
Disliked: Because they have retained the original features, such as single glaze sash windows which open only a few inches, in a mini heatwave, the room was very hot.

Liked: Location choice of dining areas
Disliked: As it was the hottest day of the year i expected rooms to have fans but we had to ask for one.Although not busy when we went down to breakfast we had to look for the staff 2 members on duty were sitting in the courtyard vaping not a very good impression!

Don’t think I would ever...

Liked: Most of the staff helpful and pleasant, treats and water bowls for the dogs.
Disliked: Radiator was on the room was roasting hot when it was really hot weather outside and windows opened a couple of cms had to complain 2 x until they swapped rooms at 11.30 pm. Felt like a sauna. Food was way over priced and was cold when brought out. Starter was cold even when they brought it out again then the mains came out 2 mins later so they came out reheated afterwards chewy prawns! Had to ask for our deserts overall it was busy but poor service but friendly staff. Veggie Breakfast was really oily basic no veggie sausage or any extras eg fruit, or any cereals jams or pastries other than a basic breakfast made to order. Every thing seemed basic minimum stripped back for maximum profit. Minimum toiletries in the room.no extras to make it a memorable pleasant stay. Poor Wi-Fi signal only 2 tv Chanel’s tuned in. Room carpet was filthy
