Hotel Description
With a seafront location next to large gardens The Headlands is a 5-minute walk from Pleasure Beach Sandcastle Waterpark and South Pier and has free on-site parking. The beach is just across the promenade where guests can see the biggest glitterball in the world. The Headlands is on Blackpool's New South Promenade which is the quieter side of the town. It has free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel and some front-facing bedrooms with balconies. All rooms at the hotel feature private bathrooms with a bath or shower. Rooms all have TVs and tea and coffee-making facilities. Blackpool's trams and buses stop outside the hotel and head towards the town center Blackpool Tower and many other attractions. The Solaris Center and beach are located opposite the property. This family-run hotel offers home-cooked meals in the dining room and serves a good breakfast and a 3-course evening meal. Bar snacks are available at lunchtime. The fully licensed bar has a pool table darts and bar games and PlayStation game consoles.

Lovely staff but I think...

Liked: The staff were all really nice and very friendly, the views from the window and the cleanliness of the room were all good. We did have a good night's sleep with the noise being minimal, and I think this is more that the walls weren't made of cardboard like more modern places.
Disliked: OK, tricky this as the hotel is very dated and I think a lot of it surround that. However, the old pizza that stayed for the duration, along with the old bedding and randomly all the keys to the hotel, could have found a better home than the hallways. The place also stunk of stale smoke.

Liked: A great location part of blackpool south, Nice staff, good comfortable room of facilities, great delicous breakfasts, Was a good quality comfortable hotel.
Disliked: No comments. Everything there was ok.

Retro style not modern but...

Liked: Very welcoming, pleasant proprietor, the decor is not modern 70 s 80s, and Retro feel and the lift with the sliding doors very unique definitely stay again, The hotel bar was a bonus music playing in the background makes a great difference, just low which was fine for everyone
Disliked: Nothing the breakfast was amazing perfection very pleasant service who couldn't do nothing more to help very nice people , again low music playing which makes it welcoming at breakfast
