Good

Liked: The sea views were exceptional..The rooms are clean.The food is good although the dinner menu doesn't get changed very often.The swimming pool area was lovely. The guards could not have been more helpful.
Disliked: The cost of a room with balcony and sea view is the same for all sea view rooms. However, the size of room, bathroom and balcony varies. You may get a small balcony which just fits two chairs and a table or you may be lucky enough to have a balcony with sun beds. Unfortunately, this time we had the former which included a very small bathroom.

Disliked: Dated to say the least Reception staff didn’t even know if they had air con or a fan in the room .30 degrees outside surely the reception manager would train her staff ,,!! Clearly not Buffet breakfast average Lifts so old you get stuck in themWould I return? No chance

Exceptional

Wonderful location for a relaxing...

Liked: Room was excellent particuarly with lview over Poole Bay. Breakfast and meals were well prepared and served.
Disliked: The lift is an essential feature. My wife is unable to climb stairs - four flights to the second floor. The lift worked without fault but the temporary notices - waiting for repairs etc are disconcerting. Please repair the lift and remove the notices.

The location is the luxury...

Liked: The location is defiantly what you pay for. It’s was lovely and quiet and out of the way of the centre which is what I wanted. I loved watching the ferry service next to the hotel. The staff at reception was super helpful.
Disliked: The breakfast on Sunday morning wasn’t its finest. We arrived before it got busy and most of the food plates was empty and needed top up. I waited 20 minutes for beans to come out by then I ate my food and didn’t bother. The scrambled eggs were like soup and needed to be cooked for longer. Luckily the manager came out of nowhere and saved the breakfast and whipped his staff into shape. The bedrooms are severely outdated with only 4 plugs in the whole entire room and non next to the bed. One was half way up the wall next to nothing. We also had a lamp that wasn’t plugged in due to no plugs next to it and just for decoration. The toilet had stains in and the shower had pour water pressure and was feeling like it was dribbling out of the head.
