Friendly staff, good size room...

Liked: We like the location and the room was a good size.
Disliked: The A/C, which an upgrade, was a mobile unit with the pipe through the wall. Noisy and not affective (needs a service or re-gassing).

Disappointing

Liked: Didn’t eat on site
Disliked: The hotel is much shabbier on the exterior and communal areas.Room was above outside drinking area so noisy at night.

Superb

Liked: Lovely hotel, excellent location for what we needed. Lovely helpful staff, nothing too much trouble
Disliked: Mattress was a bit hard and bumpy

Disliked: Room was very noisy due to an event outside We had checked in for breakfast on both mornings but this was recorded so no chef was on site. The night staff had to open the kitchen to cook breakfast for us and another couple on the Saturday morningWhich was OK but not what you expect of a hotelWe ate in the hotel both nights which again was Ok but not at the standard we have experienced in the past

Liked: Easy location. Have stayed before
Disliked: Accessibility poor , trying to get up 3 flights of stairs with knee problems. No lift . Room appeared clean but a foul smell coming from bathroom ( room 206 ) found some bleach from cleaner. Bed & pillows uncomfortable

A very well set up...

Liked: The breakfast in the hotel was very good, we had the full English , but there was a wide choice of options

Will come again next year

Liked: Came for Melton Ska Fest. Clean room, parking, good bar, nice staff, good breakfast. Location perfect for centre, park, train etc. Nice hotel. A bathtub was a bonus. So many places have only showers.
