Good

Liked: Location and views over the bay were glorious good location to walk into Looe.

Great place to stay

Liked: room with a balcony and amazing view spa and swimming pool friendly staff and having lifts that went up to reception and then first floor nice restaurant
Disliked: food in restaurant repetitive a bit expensive as with Bistro but very efficient service in both and staff made up for everything

Would have stayed longer but...

Liked: The view was lovely, the room was big and comfortable and breakfast was very good
Disliked: Parking was not good

Superb

Liked: Pool and gym were an added bonus and great views from breakfast room and bar.
Disliked: Generator or something like that came on every morning to wake me up. But soon got used to it and a very minor complaint in an otherwise very good visit.

Great location and fantastic spa...

Liked: The spa was a very welcome surprise after a long day walking with indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Nice food in the hotel bar and a good breakfast the next morning.
Disliked: The extra-thick duvet in the middle of summer!

Disliked: The room we were allocated at the back of the hotel, the noise that was what I can only assume was pump for swimming pool was dreadful and woke me up very early

Overpriced and tired hotel

Liked: Room was clean but dated
Disliked: The state of the carpets in the main walkways were filthy and not nice. The whole hotel needs updating not just painted over. The room I had was tiny, single bed uncomfortable, room was hot even with window open and that made things worse because the air con/ vent machines ran continuously through the nigh very noisy.

Excellent value for money with...

Disliked: For the price we paid it was marvelous. Possibly the decor is a bit tied and could do with an update

A wonderful weekend away!

Liked: The staff were amazing, really couldn’t ask for a better team to be looking after us! Great location from the town and the spa was lovely and relaxing! I had a treatment while I was there and it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Would definitely visit again and would recommend!
Disliked: A little dated in decor but still lovely! The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either I had the burger when we arrived and it was rather dry and tough however my other half had the pork belly and said it was really nice! The earlier you arrive for breakfast the better as when we went down Saturday morning around 8:45 and everything was either a little over cooked or mushy as it’s a buffet style but when we went down the Sunday morning at 8:15 everything seemed a lot crispier and fresh and was a lot nicer!
