Disappointing

Liked: Food was ok although expensive.
Disliked: Didn’t feel like a spa hotel, felt like a hotel with an outdated leisure centre attached. Everything is tired and dated. Pool area busy, not relaxing, no where to rest around pool and it felt dirty. Breakfast food was alright, but every table was left and not cleared away. We came to have a nice meal Saturday and then relax and use the spa on the Sunday but we left straight after breakfast.

Liked: Court yard, Good selection of food on the breakfast buffet.
Disliked: I felt the hotel had been let go, it has the potential to be a high class hotel but lacked the final touches. The room we stayed in the decor was tired, no aircon , no water glasses, no hairdryer, lack of soft furnishings like cushions or throw. Very basic. We paid for the buffet breakfast, not enough mugs, plates and when we asked for a teaspoon although the waitress said she would get one for us, we never got one and used a soupspoon. Waiter has his crinkled shirt untucked and looked like he had just got out of bed. This all sounds picky but the cost of the room was not basic so would have expected a little more - I won’t be staying again, look like Holiday Inn would have been better.
