The Hamlet Inn

A great little, comfortable motel...

Liked: Great location within walking distance of all the location attractions. Really cute Danish theme. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Powerful A/C unit. Generally clean.
Disliked: The door locks. They are push button, code locks and the one on my room worked inconsistently. I would have to stand at my door waiting for the right amount of pushing and pulling to get the door to open after correctly entering my code. Also, the only other lock on the door was a simple residential style deadbolt—these need updating for security. While overall a very clean property, there were several long, black hairs in my bathroom. Skeeved me out. Also, the shower wasn’t my favorite. There weren’t any shelves or ledges to put shower products.

Liked: No hot water both days. I told the cleaning staff. Nothing was done.
Disliked: Cold water. No hot water. Fan directly on me while I slept. Windows need more secure locks.

Clean and Comfortable

Liked: The accommodations are very simple and basic but that's all I was looking for. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location made it easy to walk to in-town destinations and the Inn provides bicycles for guests' use which was really nice. If you're looking for a "resort" this is not it. But if you want a nice, comfortable clean place to stay at a reasonable price, you won't be disappointed.
