I would probably stay again....
Liked: Great hotel, excellent food.
Disliked: Not a four star. Attention to detail not there. Full bin in the bathroom on arrival, no bath mat, single beds too narrow.

A memorable and delightful stay...
Liked: We visited Mid-Wales for a 50th birthday trip and booked a double room with an extra-large bed. After making the reservation, we asked the hotel if they could do something special for the birthday, like providing a small cake, chocolates, or balloons. The hotel kindly upgraded us to their suite and arranged balloons in the room, which was a lovely touch. Our stay was fantastic, with dinner and breakfast included in the total cost. The two-course dinner was delicious, and breakfast, served to the table, offered a nice variety of options to choose from.
Disliked: Everything was absolutely perfect! From the warm welcome to the thoughtful birthday surprise, every detail exceeded our expectations. It made for a memorable and truly enjoyable stay.

Excellent location and fantastic staff
Liked: Location
Disliked: Price is top end and the property is not . But in fairness that’s probably “historical”
