Liked: Very nice staff. Despite the fact that check-in was late (3 o'clock in the morning), we were greeted with a smile and courtesy. Our room was not big, but very cozy, clean and comfortable. Pleasantly surprised with gifts from the hotel.

Liked: Great location, really quaint and nice decor. Great cafe/bar area and walking distance to Pancras Square and Kings Cross station

Liked: nice decor, room had a decent size, shower was good (important in the UK ;-))
Disliked: there was an overhead window in the room with no facilities to cover the window, which meant the room was never dark and incredibly bright from 5 am onwards. I asked the staff if there is anything they could do to help but I never hear anything back.one of the important criteria for me was that the room must be soundproof but it wasn't or maybe only a little. we could hear a fan from outside all night long, the washing machine or something similar from downstairs during the afternoon... anyway lots of noise from outside. something else I didn't like is that they have housekeeping only one hour late afternoon which meant that every time we cane back from an activity during the day the room wasn't done and when we were resting they disturbed us (no do not distribute sign) no vegan option for breakfast

A great stay in a...

Liked: This hotel is situated in a handy location for transport. It’s a quirky establishment and we loved the complimentary tea/coffee/water/variety of snacks downstairs in beautiful bar (which is 24 hours) we also enjoyed a nightcap before retiring to bed.The room was a very decent size and we were impressed my the comfy bed, stylish layout and funky bathroom. The staff were all friendly and so helpful!
Disliked: We were in a room on the top floor and as there is no lift (due to the buildings listed status) so be ready for possibly a few flights of stairs.

Liked: Liked the Scottish theme and the overall style
Disliked: The door to room 1 was extremely hard to open especially with a suitcase. It was very expensive for what it was with no breakfast included
