We have stayed in London...

Liked: Very impressed with the roomWe liked the little touches such as lavender in the wardrobe , clothes.brush etc Staff were very attentive Room service was quick and food good quality Breakfast in hotel was excellent Location was fantastic, close to the sites , underground stations and restaurants
Disliked: Minor gripe no hooks to hang damp dressing gown

Don’t complain as you’re not...

Liked: Good location. Bar man very welcoming !
Disliked: Complained but never saw anyone to response the issue was just left a card in the room. The wardrobe didn’t work properly, as you couldn’t fully open the door to get to the draw. I was offered a room changed the day after I complained but this could have been resolved a lot quicker for a 5 star hotel. The next room I was offered had a knocking noise most of the night, so this was again not good. I found that once I complained the reception team were not as welcoming. This made us leave feeling unwelcome and rather than booking another night in the hotel we chose to move on. More training needs to given around complaints and how to resolve them quickly and smoothly. Also, that a complaint is not personal and is where attention needs to be looked at. If I am staying for 4 night and the only draw in the wardrobe I can’t open is my fault then this should not be 4 stars. Room 409 I wouldn’t stay again based on the unfriendly welcome after complaining and it not being resolved quickly and no manger ever spoke to me !!!!

Perfect location. Great facilities.

Liked: Perfect location. Lots of main sights and shopping within walking distance. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities a standout. Staff all very friendly.
Disliked: Granted it’s not often 30 degrees in London, the room was very warm even with the A/C pumping.

This is NOT a five...

Liked: Location.Staff nice and friendly.
Disliked: This is NOT a five star hotel!!! This is a 3 star hotel!!! And whoever wrote good reviews here clearly never been to a one.Room too small and too dark, but ok. But the bed was also too small, and no, we are not overweight, but we are tall. Not a five star hotel. There is no plug in the bathroom, so when you want to dry your hair, you need to do it on the bed, with the small round mirror.Lightning is bad in room, not good for make up girlies or boys.No iron in room as well. You need to ask for it and I hate it when I need to ask for something, when I need to complain, that’s why I go to a five star hotel, to avoid those types of situations.Bathroom smells of mould and the shower was mouldy. Again, not a five star hotel!Carpet in the room was probably never cleaned. It is not enough only the vacuum it! Why on earth do you have a carpet in a hotel room?!We came on 12.08. in the evening and the next day we decided not to have a cleaning service because it wasn’t necessary. On the 14th cleaning service only got us new towels and made a bad. Nothing else. Bathroom was not cleaned! We didn’t get any water as well. On the 15th the room was cleaned and on the 16th again was not cleaned and no water again.
