As a bed for the...

Liked: Nice room. Good breakfast.
Disliked: No hot water in the shower in the evening. Breakfast took so long (almost half an hour to get a cooked breakfast in an almost empty dining room), so we were running late for our first appointment and didn't have time to check the bill which was wrong.

Perfectly located, beautifully boutique, super...

Liked: This is a super nice hotel with a location that is absolutely ideal for London - you can walk to enjoy everything from shopping to parks to sites (Buckingham Palace a mere minute away) or the tube is just round the corner for anything slightly further way. Its small and personal, super friendly and completely welcoming. Rooms are small but have everything you need and who needs a big room on a London trip when you're barely in the room. They are clean and very comfortable. Staff are extremely nice.
Disliked: We stayed for 2 nights so we were a little disappointed not to have the complimentary water replaced (especially on one of the hottest days of the year so far) but I'm sure if we'd asked they would have.

If I had to stay...

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent. East walking distance to so many sights, Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament. The staff is very cordial and gracious. The room decor, construction, layout were all excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast and bar were also very good.
Disliked: No complaints or criticisms.
