The Grove

We felt at home here despite the outdated decor. The owners were so welcoming - you felt you were party of the family. The price was a little on the high side but we left feeling happy. The location was excellent for the theatre - just around the corner.

Liked: Owners were very helpful and friendly. Waitress was also friendly. Room was cosy and bed comfortable.
Disliked: Damp in bathroom and shower was not powerful and cubicle small. Decor dating back to the 70s. Lacking a little choice for breakfast. Sausages were of poor quality.

Cheap Digs

Liked: Good value, close to the front, free parking and reasonably comfortable
Disliked: Little bit tired, some signs of damp in the room, could do with updating. Breakfast wasn't that warm.

Liked: Location was perfect for everything ( seafront, buses and town centre). Lovely clean accommodation and a great welcome. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Would return
