Liked: Staff super friendly, especially the lady who checked us in. The room was small but clean.
Disliked: The hotel could do with a complete update. The carpets and furnishings were worn and a coat of paint everywhere would make a huge difference. There was a general feeling that the hotel was understaffed .!

Liked: Looked lovely from the outside, and in a lovely area.
Disliked: Our food was not value for money, and although we knew there was decorating going on. We didn't expect two large sets of double doors to be wide open at seven in the evening. The food was cold and we were cold. My mixed grill was OK but the chicken and sausage were dry as though they had been standing a long time under lights. My wife's sirloin was undercooked, she asked for medium and it was tough. My rump steak was lovely, just all got cold so quickly, and management didn't seem that interested The room was OK but tired, which I expected with a three star and the rooms were generally clean. EXCEPT! Around the door handles where there was clearly no routine cleaning carried out. PHOTO SUPPLIED. Considering its £90 per night with breakfast not included. We think it was poor value for money.

Liked: Really friendly and caring staff. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was first class. Very convenient for all the sights of St Davids. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: A bit tired and could do with a lick of paint and a spruce up, but did not detract from our stay.
