Lovely place with historic features...

Liked: Interesting hotel with lots of historic features, pleasant room and excellent dinner both nights.It wasn't a problem for us but people should be aware that the hotel is out in the country away from restaurants etc.

Liked: Room, dinner, and breakfast also the views were beautiful and to far from town which was beautiful
Disliked: Bed but that’s personal preference

Not what we expected to...

Liked: Breakfast buffet very poor
Disliked: A supply of berries, seeds and different milks. Poor selection of gluten free products

Little bit of up and...

Liked: Layout of hotel was excellent . Food very good,well presented. Room ( no 2 quite small but acceptable. Bathroom/ toilet etc exceptionally clean ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Room very close to the main road so noise from vehicles is noticeable.
Disliked: Small issue but NO hanging hook's for clothes when showering / washing . Stick on type would acceptable I'm sure.on a more serious note ,bar price of non alcoholic cider WAY over priced .I drink the same brand at home at a cost of UNDER £1 a 500 ml bottle . Having said that your price is consistent with other outlets in Conway and other resorts .

An excellent place to stay...

Liked: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Groes Inn. The rooms were superb and we had a fantastic view of Snowdonia from the room. The staff were all amazing! They were helpful, friendly and really made you welcome. The food was fantastic. There was plenty of choice and their Prix Fixe menu offered great value for money. I would recommend the Wexford Chicken followed by the Eton Mess! This is an excellent establishment and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in North Wales.

Lovely historic stay in a...

Liked: Location wasn't too far from Conwy or even Llandudno. Breakfast was nicely thought out too with variety of options for hot and cold dishesDinner was enjoyable too, fair price and dish size!Gorgeous views too
Disliked: The room didn't have a fan, even though the booking said one would be in there and it was still height of summer, so was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in the mugginess. Room had a bit of visible wear and tear too with the peeling paint on the walls. Toilet was way too close to the shower, so always knocked against it coming out the bath/ shower.
