We would stay there again.

Liked: It was nicely presented, however the strawberry was hard. The quiche seemed to be heated in a microwave making the inside very hot. Our host facilitated engaging and informative conversations with all the guests.
Disliked: More flavorful breakfast.

It was a perfect short...

Liked: The Gridley Inn is a beautiful and warm building with an interesting history. It is spacious and has a tasteful decor. It is conveniently located between Seneca and Cayuga Lake and is a perfect base to explore cities like Rochester, Geneva, and Ithaca. Wineries, Cider Houses, waterfalls, and museums are „just around the corner.“Madison prepared an out of this world breakfast every morning and we were welcomed like family.

Liked: Exceptional hosts, beautifully appointed bedrooms, breakfast was other worldly created by one of the owner/chefs.

A classy older brick mansion...

Liked: The breakfast was delicious - though there was just the single offering - very well prepared. Steph, the host, regaled us with stories as we ate.
Disliked: Yes, downtown Waterloo's a bit down at the heels - though there are delicious restaurant choices nearby. But it's just a short hop to Seneca Falls and other places, too.

All in all, it is...

Liked: This was my second time staying at the Gridley Inn, and it was great. The decor of the Inn is historical and outstandingly beautiful. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and I slept very well. Instead of the typical breakfast buffet, the owners of the Inn actually cook up a wonderful meal for each guest in the morning. In the evening before I went to sleep I spent some time relaxing down stairs in the living room, reading and enjoying the surroundings.
Disliked: The one suggestion I would make to the owners would be is to upgrade the toilet tissue.

Liked: Owner was very personable and made our stay feel special. The breakfast was great, along with the socialization of other guests. Decor was beautiful and setup nicely throughout the historic home.
Disliked: No complaints.
