Disliked: No notification of local road works. Access was a bit difficult.

A great location easy to...

Liked: I had an impromptu overnight stay. I booked the hotel late Friday evening at 8pm and checked in at 8:30 pm. Check in was a doddle and staff were extremely helpful in directing me to local facilities in the town as I arrived too late to take of dining in the restaurant. The superior deluxe double room I stayed in was extremely well appointed and made for a much needed relaxing and comfortable night stop. I awoke in the morning fully refreshed and rested and after a delicious breakfast I was set up to continue on my way.

Disliked: Squeaky sign outside our window- not good in windy weather and needs to be sorted!Only one tea bag provided in room but good coffee- I am sure we could have had more had we asked!

Liked: Location was appropriate for the work
Disliked: Bathroom filthy , with only one towel between two of us! No teabags and we needed to ask for some (we were given three). Also no pillows! That was a shock. So we had to ask for those as well. We paid for breakfast as advertised in booking.com and we had juice and a packet of cereal. But there was a charge of £7.50 for a cooked breakfast . So really this means that breakfast is NOT included if they are charging for it. If I pay as part of the room booking for breakfast I expect the cooked breakfast to be included . I stay in hotels all the time and that is normal. Why is this different ? So , in brief … revamp needed in the bathroom , beds need pillows! Proper supply of teabags and at least 3 or 4 towels rather than one between 2! And also, please don’t advertise breakfast as part of the booking when we are told that a cooked breakfast is an additional £7.50 each. Over two days that is an extra £30 . In the plus side , the staff were very nice .
