Exceptional

Good

Adequate

Liked: The room was satisfactory though basic. There was a fan provided in the hot weather, the shower was good. I was able to get a ground floor room on request.
Disliked: The lift was broken. The place is clearly being run on a shoestring. The breakfast room looked shambolic, The adjacent pub restaurant is closed. The entertainment suite is closed. Word in the town is that it used to be a lot better than it is these days.

It’s cheap so don’t expect...

Liked: Staff were friendly when I saw them at reception when I was checking in
Disliked: On my last day just before I checked out, I realised that under the bed sheet there were a few stains on the mattress cover that looked like blood (I’m 1000% certain it was blood). They need to ensure their cleaners are actually cleaning….

Overpriced for what it is

Disliked: Hotel falling apart. Both double bed frames were smashed on one half and had towels under the mattress to try fix/hide this.There was hot water in the room but not for the shower. The windows were broken and so stuck slightly open.
