Exceptional

Ok, but hated the elevator

Liked: Clean, in the city center, friendly staff Breakfast - just ok
Disliked: The elevator is horrible - it’s tiny and it is wall free from one side. I was scared my dog’s tail might get hurt if stuck in it. No space for toiletries in the bathroom near sink.

Very disappointing

Disliked: Our experience was not meet with our stay. Spending €221 we were expecting a very special experience. On arrival we were met with a great welcome to be told we were staying in an apartment-sounded great. On being handed the key to the apartment we were told to go outside to the street and walk down the road where we would find our place to stay. We found our apartment which was a converted street side shop, right on the pavement and with a big glass front. On walking in, the space was vast but very sparse with furniture and not the €221 luxuries experience we were expecting. At night being a converted shop we realised the curtains on both sides of the room were broken letting in light to the room - with the accommodation being street side, every car that passed at night resulted in the room being lit up and noisy! Our experience was incredibly disappointing - hotel rooms in the area where less than €100 we feel ripped off

Good

Liked: The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly speaking German and English. The location is close to the train central station and also U bahn.
Disliked: After checking in and entering the room I found it has not been cleaned. They asked for 20 minutes to do the cleaning.While in booking.com it was mentioned my room is sound proof, it wasn't at all. The first night was terrible. I shared the issue with them and changed my room for the second night.

A few days in Dortmund

Liked: A nice place to stay, close to everything with everything you need, the staff are helpful and efficient, we enjoyed our 3 day stay, thank you 👍

Exceptional

Liked: Excellent value for money. Large rooms, comfortable bed. Large bathroom with everything you need. In the city center. Better than 3 stars. Excellent breakfast
