A great hotel with staffing...

Liked: We have stayed at the Greswolde many times, and it has always suited us when visiting family in this area
Disliked: My only negative view is that the Greswolde is understaffed, be it behind the bar or during breakfast. Breakfast on a busy day is too much for one member of staff to take orders, deliver breakfasts, and even serve coffee at the bar. The big improvement during breakfast is a hot water and coffee station instead of the pump vacuum flasks that we have encountered on previous visits.

Liked: Rooms we lovely and very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and polite
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit old school - there was no proper muesli only those little boxes of cereal, nor fresh orange juice and coffee wasn’t great. However, the staff were very helpful to sort out porridge for my son who is not well and needed particular food.

Convenient location.

Liked: The location of your hotel is ideal for visiting family. The room size was very generous.
Disliked: We were assigned an accessible room which meant the bathroom sink was very inconvenient $ small for my tall husband. Breakfast included would have made it feel like a treat to stay. The room/corridor doors were very noisy - some kind of cushioning to silence that would be appreciated.

Disliked: Bathroom did not have a shower mat. Handle fell off bath controls. Only one hand towel.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpfulThe room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable.Personally, I found the mattress a bit too firm, but there was nothing wrong with it...just personal taste...Car parking on site without charge was a good feature. Despite the very hot day, the room was cool and comfortableWe were down for an event at the NEC...The location is excellent for this, and the trip there is less than 10 minutes

Liked: We stayed before an early flight so didn’t eat but loved the hotel and will definitely be back for a proper break
