Disliked: The room was a little tired but clean and fit for purpose. Could do with new carpet in the bedroom area and brighter lighting in the bathroom

Liked: Clean, functional room and helpful staff - met all expectations :).
Disliked: Wasn't able to include breakfast when booking room

Great location, nice pub, clean...

Liked: This place was perfect for me. Anywhere I can get out of the car and hear skylarks, and enjoy uninterrupted view of a fallow field full of poppies, birds and butterflies is good. Bathroom had a few flaws and will no doubt be done up soon, bedroom and bed perfect. Annoying green emergency light prevented room getting properly dark which is been looking forward to. LED lights are awful when used like this.
Disliked: See above. Breakfast was a bit sketchy. Only fry ups and pancakes available, and staff seemed surprised to see us as we had not paid for inclusive breakfast. Tea was a disappointing half cup of hot water with tea bag left in. Little improvements would have made it much better.

Disliked: Could not get the TV to work.

Lovely pub/hotel - great staff,...

Liked: The staff were great, the food was great and the facilities were good.I loved the range and quantity of tea/coffee/biscuits in the room.
Disliked: The rooms were a little tired, the window was drafty and the towel rail kept falling off. However, I know that a refurb is happening, which is great!

Certainly not delux as advertised....

Liked: Location was good for our needs
Disliked: Very tired decor and very basic although advertised as deluxe. Small room with an old chair as furniture; wallpaper peeling from wall, curtains old and falling down; one window would not open and wood in other window was split so that we could not keep it open. Shower was new but set to boiling! Really unimpressed as we paid £135 for a £50 room with no breakfast included.

Disliked: The welcome on arrival left a lot to be desired , the manager clearly stressed , I asked what time they finished serving food , and was told 8.30( we arrived around 7) but they were very busy and only had one table , he then pointed us in the general direction of our room , and started to leave , I had to ask if we could have that table , he said I'll have to clear it and there will be a 45 minute wait for food , which I said would be fine , In the end the meal arrived quickly and was lovely , It just made us feel as though it was to much trouble to cook for us and he wanted to get the kitchen closed , After a long day and a long drive fighting traffic , it wasn't the welcome you expect ,
