nice stay at the Green...

Liked: Nice breakfast, served with a smile. Dinner was really nice and ample, the staff were quick and attentive. The owner was very helpful and fair despite us missing the first night due to car problems. He was understanding and fair. Close to the Shuttleworth collection

Liked: Sunday lunch was good Nice clean room Friendly staff
Disliked: We could not find the hotel on returning after dark There were no lights and no signs to indicate that it was the Green Man. It was as though it was hidden ! We must have driven past it quite a few times and thought that we would never find it. Luckily we saw 2 cars pull in and followed them. We were driving around for at least half an hour. It definitely needs a nice big visible sign by the road and lights.

Lovely place but wouldn’t stay...

Liked: Everything was as expected.
Disliked: I had trouble finding the pub at night. I drove around for at least half an hour unable to find it as there was nothing lit up to tell me where it was. I only found it in the end because 2 other cars drove into the car park and I happened to be at the cross roads at the time otherwise I wouldn’t have found it. You need to do something about this especially for people that don’t know the area. This would put me off staying there again which is a shame as it’s a lovely place.

Disliked: Getting luggage up the flight of stairs

Liked: Breakfast was in dinning rooom not far from our room excellent. The host went out of his way for us,great chap.
Disliked: Nothing was not liked

Liked: The bar and restaurant were lovely, staff were nice considering they were rushed off their feet
Disliked: The rooms were a bit tired. No lining on curtains so the room was really light
