Perfect overnight stop for train...

Liked: Opposite the train station, without hearing any train noise. Huge rooms.Lovely old building. Friendly, helpful staff.Very nice breakfast. We were impressed by the fact that the hotel is linked to the YMCA in providing young people with training and opportunities for future career prospects.

Liked: Not the boutique hotel we expected, this is a YMCA run hotel, and it looks like it is.
Disliked: Poor room, bad fitting toilet seat, cold showers

The staff were young and...

Liked: Good parking.Clean bedroom.
Disliked: No wardrobe in bedroom, just two coat hangers on pegs provided.At breakfast items were missingeg crockery ,hot water,cutlery.No choice of white /brown bread for toast.Afternoon refreshments were unavailable on one day
