The Great Southern Hotel

Liked: Great location. Super close to central station, supermarket, restaurants and the ICC Theatre. The staff is also very nice.

Great spot to crash after a concert, however it is very basic. Definitely a few issues with the room such as the bathroom ventilation, old pipes and lack of power of mini fridge, however for one night it is fine. Probably wouldn’t be great for more than a one night stay.

Disliked: The bathroom was not well ventilated, and they don’t provide a foot mat in the bathroom (so it gets very wet). The mini fridge is also very weak in power.

Liked: Location fantastic , traditional old style hotel that does what it says on the tin , bit dated but clean and tidy and I was able to organise a later checkout which was appreciated.
Disliked: It is kind of dated but I was there for the Rugby and didn't spend time in the room really

Liked: Can I say everything? Cannot fault the location, the friendly staff, the clean and spacious facilities... it was wonderful!
