Pleasant

Liked: Shower was a decent size. Bed was comfy.
Disliked: Old-fashioned furniture (e.g. old worn-out faux-leather couch). Breakfast was not very tasty.

Easy place to stay for...

Liked: A lovely character home in town with private bathrooms and a shared kitchen space - I enjoyed the breakfast more than walking up to Ponsonby Rd

Liked: The breakfast was ok but not brilliant.

If we ever come back...

Liked: Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Happy to assist with anything. We were so thankful to be able to check in several hours early, which was wonderful after a very long flight and jet lag. At checkout, we were able to leave our luggage there for about an hour, so we could get our rental car and then come back and get our bags.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything.

A home away from home

Liked: A very welcoming, comfortable place to stay - it felt more like a home away from home than a guesthouse!

Exceptional

Liked: I can not recommend enough this lodgment. The personal was so helpful, kind and willing to have a good conversation. Everything was clean and the towels impeccable. I loved my time there, and i’m hoping to come back soon!
Disliked: I believe is the weather in Auckland, but the rooms smell a bit of moist and were not so easy to ventilate. Also i would recommend to tone down the decorations, as it can be a bit too much. But otherwise, everything works wonderfully, the staff is adorable, everything is clean and the location is perfect!
