Superb

Liked: Easy walking distance to Sonning Mill Theatre and great walks along the river.Our room was massive.
Disliked: The fire alarm went off briefly for a few minutes, this was immediately after I could smell cigarette smoke in my room from a nearby location, so I'm pretty sure it was a guest smoking in their room. It would have woken most people up at about 7am, but I was awake anyway.

Perfect

Liked: The room was lovely. The staff were friendly and we love the location. Very pretty garden to drink or dine in. A lovely view of the river.We did get upgraded to a biggy room as it was our wedding anniversary so that was a very thoughtful touch.
Disliked: Nothing!!

A night that felt like...

Liked: The hotel is located right next to the Thames. Perfect location for nice walks and water activities. We spent the afternoon having drinks at the Coppa club and taking in the scenery. A great night away!

Liked: The guy on reception really wasn’t very welcoming - he just seemed bored.
Disliked: The breakfast was very expensive, for what it was.

Lovely place, great location, friendly...

Liked: The room was large and very comfortable. The common areas were very beautiful.
Disliked: The resort is very difficult to contact by phone. They rarely answer. We had dinner and MANY of the main dishes were not available.

Nice hotel by the Thames.

Liked: Nice location for river, restaurant had a good atmosphere with nice views into the garden and river.
Disliked: Road noise to front facing bedrooms.

A lovely location outlook

Disliked: The optional breakfast was not clearly explained. Normally one would expect a full A La Carte / buffet for this price. However, after it became clear it only entitled the guest to a limited number of menu options - we found it cheaper to go a la carte. The breakfast menu was far too designer / gastro and not enough genuine breakfast options., Also pricey, a cooked breakfast with juice coffee etc would have been close to £30 ph.
