Lovely, homely b & b,...

Liked: Perhaps one of the best and cleanest guest houses I have stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few!. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, I enjoyed using the garden and there was an honesty bar which was well stocked with both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food and I particularly liked the home made preserves.An excellent stay and a place I would recommend to everyone.
Disliked: Parking was a little tight, but the owners helped both when I arrived and when I left.

Liked: Sarah and Stewart were excellent hosts. An older property with quirks eg sloping floors and an eclectic range of ‘things’ that reflect what has been a home for Sarah’s family for over a century .This didn’t distract from modern day touches, loved the mini fridge in the room. Ability to bring in food for an evening meal and use the dining room was lovely as was the honesty bar. Shared lounge and garden space was a bonus

Great place in central Normanton...

Liked: Well situated in central Normanton. Easy access to the places we were visiting. Safe parking on the property. Excellent breakfast and run by a lovely friendly couple. Would definitely stay there again.
Disliked: Nothing - our stay was excellent in every respect.

Liked: Excellent hosts. Friendly and helpful. Little touches like guest fridge, able to eat takeaways in the dining room. Honesty bar at supermarket prices. Room had cooler for milk and water. Short walk to the centre . Secure onsite parking. Breakfast superb. Great choices to suit everyone. Home made preserves. Again little touches like scissors provided to open those pesky sauce sachets. Guest lounge and outside space with tables and chairs. Glasses , crockery and cutlery provided For guest use for own food and drink.
Disliked: Nothing. This place deserves 12 out of 10.
