Liked: the room itself was comfortable, clean, and spacious. good shower.it was nice to be able to leave our car parked there for a couple of hours after checking out.
Disliked: it was hard to get a clear description of breakfast ahead of time during the booking process. breakfast itself proved to be competent, but uninspiring: there are much more interesting options within easy walking distance. NZD$14 for continental breakfast, $18 for cooked to order.

The Grange Motel, highly recommended

Liked: Have stayed several times, and the Grange Motel is our first choice for accommodation in Christchurch. Comfortable, well equipped apartment, walking distance to CBD and friendly owners/staff. Highly recommended
Disliked: Parking can be a little pressured but staff always sort any issues. I've never not been able to park on site.

Great wee place

Liked: Beautiful room, comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom with stunning shower. Great location. Netflix a great addition. Facilities to cook if wanted and outdoor area
Disliked: Lots of ants in the kitchen but if addressed we would definitely book again as everything else was superb.

Lovely accommodation in every way...

Liked: Location: a key bonus, very easy walk to everything (eateries, attractions, shopping, markets). Room: very attractive, comfortable, immaculate. New bathroom, kitchenette very convenient for making our own breakfast tho a delicious breakfast was available at a reasonable cost. Lovely, friendly, helpful manager. One of our favourite stays during our three week holiday. We would go back in a blink.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was great.

Liked: Well located and spacious sunny room. Hosts very accomodating and great location for walking to the town centre for meals and sight seeing. On the tourist tram line.

Top spot in the central...

Liked: Smart motel/B&B in central Christchurch. Well appointed and clean.

Good spot to stay.

Liked: Short walk to the Art Gallery, riverside eateries, and Hagley Park. Very clean, good-sized room with a huge bathroom. The kitchenette is relatively small and basic but adequate. Comfy bed, which is the main priority. And pretty quiet over night.
