Really spoiled our Daylesford experience...

Liked: The most unpleasant accomodation experience we have had which includes third world countries. Nothing to like. I have never complained about a accomodation experience before
Disliked: Management totally unprofessional. No reception or management staff on site. Facilities where unclean and poorly maintained. Some really significant WHS issues on site. Extremely difficult to contact staff whilst on-site as manager was in Melbourne who said they had a busy weekend resulting in insufficient cleaning, no restaurant for dinner or Breakfast . No staff in attendance overnight. Promised a refund for the second night and an email when processed on Thursday. Heard nothing tried to contact them 4 times but no reply. Seems like they are avoiding me.

Liked: The staff were helpful, unfortunately this was due to so many issues.
Disliked: Room was unclean, spiders and a dirty floor to name two. Room was very cold, no heating available resulting in us asking for an electric heater. No light in the shower cubicle, and the toiletries were minimal. Very noisy, old building so everything creaked. The foyer smelt of urine. No coffee or tea facilities could be found in the morning, think they were locked away and couldn’t find any staff.

Liked: Venue was conveniently located
Disliked: Our room was two doors down from kitchen and dining room with live music playing that could be heard clearly in our room. There was a table on the balcony at which patrons drank directly outside our room window late at night. There were no tea making facilities. We could hear drunk women shouting in the toilets opposite our room. The room was not fit for accommodation at any price, let alone the price we paid for one night.

Liked: Charming old property, set a beautiful location, gardens were fabulous, huge wrap around verandah with plenty of tables to enjoy a glass of bubbles overlooking the green gully. The food was delicious and the and staff very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: Perhaps some in-room bottled local mineral water from Hepburn Springs would be a nice touch. My room was missing hand soap but body wash was provided.
