Good
Liked: Location and breakfast was really nice.
Disliked: Booked a double bed, but mattress was two single pushed together. Very disappointing with this element of the stay.

A beautiful stay
Liked: We have stayed 3 times now. This time we stayed in a suite for our 10th wedding anniversary and it was beautiful. We always enjoy our stay at the Grand. It?s perfect! Our daughter came with us due to the circumstances at the minute and she loved it.

It was satisfactory - didn't...
Liked: it was good but we couldn't get into the spa/pool fully booked.
Disliked: I asked for our room to be serviced on 10/08 but when we got back at 6:00pm wasn't done -towels etc left outside all day. Told receptionist but just said sorry. Our wet towels were left outside the room all night. Also bar closed @ midnight ordered drinks form night porter but he couldn't/wasn't allowed to serve mixers??? Then rang to say no Bacardi. Also our son ordered a surprise bottle of champagne to be delivered at breakfast time on our 46th wedding anniversary on the 10th. It was in our room when we got back at midnight after we tried to go into the bar which was closed. Not good.

Excellent would definitely go back
Liked: The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on the menu. The rooms where very spacious and clean and the king size bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the concierge service was excellent as well as the reception.

Comfortable and relaxing
Liked: I loved the room very modern and comfortable
Disliked: We didn?t know you had to pay a deposit of £200 incase you spent anything while you were there. We?re we?re not told about it before booking

Lovely hotel and huge rooms.
Liked: It's a very spacious hotel and the staff were very nice. We were able to book an appointment to swim in the pool. The hotel was busier than expected so had a nice atmosphere.
Disliked: Our cheque was lost at breakfast, which was unfortunate. It was rectified by the staff but wasn't the best start to our day. The hotel was quite noisy at night, we were able to hear other rooms even though our corridor was quite quiet.
