Exceptional

Easy place to spend a...

Liked: Lake was nice and there were some canoes etc to use, which was great!
Disliked: Facility is run down, rooms and restaurant are in need of a major update.

Liked: We enjoy staying at Tappatoo. We stayed 2 nights. We stayed at Tappatoo before. It was the 3rd time booking for us!
Disliked: Housekeeping was asked to clean floors as sand was dragged into room from our shoes, as path to our rooms was all sand/ dirt. Housekeeping knocked o the door to ask if we needed towels, etc. I told her about the floor, but when we returned later in the day, nothing was done.

Awesome resort. Definitely going back

Liked: Almost felt like an all inclusive resort. Great facilities for summer.

A peaceful stay at a...

Liked: Breakfast by the lake was amazing! Good choice for vegetarians too. We loved that there were kayaks on site, free to use too!
Disliked: We asked for fresh towels twice but didn’t receive them, also asked for the room to be cleaned but no news there either. Service related to these two points could’ve been better.

Great choice for families!

Liked: Great resort with many things to do with kids. The double queen room is big, clean and renovated, great restaurant and staff. Many paddle boats, kayaks and canoes available

Peaceful getaway for a weekend...

Liked: This place offers a special connection with nature and its facilities are well taken care of. Gorgeous lake view and a peaceful environment. The room was as advertised (we stayed in the furthest wing of rooms 80-84). The included breakfast is a plus and the access to watercraft’s at no cost enhanced the experience. Overall friendly staff and very good food at the restaurant.
Disliked: The room was clean when we arrived but I wish the housekeeping team had come back the next day to refresh. We had a short stay so it was fine. We asked for fresh towels at the front desk and they were provided. Some rooms are not easily accessible for guests with mobility challenges. The carpet on the hallways can use an upgrade or deep cleaning. One night at the restaurant we got charged for something we were told it wasn’t going to be extra but ended up on the bill.
