The Grand Hotel

Under staffed. Advertised breakfast but not available. No spare soap or toilet roll. Shower not working.

Liked: Was clean.
Disliked: Shower not working. Couldn't get key till 3.30 as no one on reception.

A great little hotel but...

Liked: Very clean. Very friendly staff. Good location.
Disliked: The free wifi didn't work in our room! The dining room looked barren; which gave us no inclination to book a breakfast. The window in our room was cracked and held together with tape. Coffee and Tea were not replaced after our first morning and the room was not cleaned or the towels changed. We had to ask for a fan for our bedroom as it was stifling hot in the late afternoon and all night; even with the fan!

Liked: Location. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Shower had black particles in tray. Tea and coffee facilities but no kettle 🙈. Breakfast ok but chef had not heated the plum tomatoes so they were cold.

Disliked: They are rooms for improvements. Hand grip rail in the shower, very low pressure on shower. Disappointed with the cook breakfast. Bacon and sausage not well cook, tomato cold and uncooked.

Disliked: Paying £25 for my dog! 😬

Was great value for money...

Liked: The owners and receptionist were all very easy to talk to and were very polite at all times always talking to you in the mornings and evenings with not only myself and my son but the other guests to nothing was to much trouble rooms were very spacious with clean comfortable beds beach was across the road and was only a 5 minute walk into town
Disliked: Rooms were a little to warm in the evenings even with the windows open could do with either a fan or air con as I didn't sleep in the bed I slept ontop of the covers as was very warm in the rooms

Liked: it was welcoming, the owners are the loveliest people.
Disliked: nothing i didnt like

All in all everything was...

Liked: I really enjoyed staying at the hotel the staff was very helpful I had a lovely cosy room nice Belcony as well and brilliant location close to the beach and shops and pubs too all in all was fantastic and would stay again .
Disliked: There wasn’t a lamp in our room but. Other then that it was a brilliant experience I totally enjoyed it .
