Liked: Classy, historical, great sized rooms with fabulous view. Haven to a traumatic circumstance.
Disliked: Couldn't take advantage of the hotel and facilities due to a family situation.

Liked: Breakfast was fairly tasty (we had plant based ) however the portion was small and a mock meat sausage would be preferred
Disliked: Portion at breakfast

Liked: The building is lovely. They gave us a room upgrade which was much appreciated. Outdoor pool is heated which is a bonus
Disliked: The food was not great. Breakfast could do with being served at a higher standard. Not whst you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The homemade burgers were definitely NOT homemade.

A lovely property in a...

Liked: We liked the location, the beautiful building evoking the style of yesteryear.The dinner in the Garden Room was excellent .Most of the staff were well-trained, helpful.Our room had a beautiful sea view from one window.
Disliked: The long trek from the lift ( ending on third floor) to a minuscule lift taking us to our room on the fourth floor) was unexpected and inconvenient.The lift was dirty, furniture tired/ chipped. And for a room described as Superior in its class the inconvenience of getting to it was disappointing.The window onto the town behind the hotel was pleasant but unfortunately framed by a disgusting , rusting metal structure which requires immediate attention and looks as though it challenges safety regs
