Stayed for one night.. loved...

Liked: The rooms are a good size, I like that they have an iron and ironing board which you don’t get in most hotels and all the staff are very friendly
Disliked: Only problem was there was only one teabag in our room

Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable and squeakyDirty carpets stains all over itToilet wouldn't flush No hot water

We had a great stay...

Liked: This was my second time here and still love this hotel. We had a room which didn't have hot water and we got offered another room straight away with lots of apologies. The breakfast is basic but just good. We only missed the 'Hank Williams'-painting on the (recently painted) wall near the stairs ;-). This year there was a little upgrade, apart from plugging in my non-English charger in the bathroom (room next to the lamp), there was also a (working) USB charger in the bathroom.
Disliked: The doors in the corridors to the rooms look very old and outdated, with some new paint that would look way better. Also, it feels like the air quality in the corridors to the room should be taken a look at.

Disliked: Bar menu was a bit limited . Would have been nice to have a steak on the menu .Buffet restaurant no menu available until itOpenedMy wife asked for soup at lunch time which is on the bar menu was told the soup was not available until night time ???Then I tried to order whitebait from the bar menu was told they are the wrong menus They should have never been put out.Bit of staff training needed ..

Family friends reunion Folkestone

Liked: The weather was perfect for 3 days which helped us a lot. Staff, facilities, location, our dog made welcome.
Disliked: Small group of people smelling of drugs. The police were called, warnings and arrest made. Glad the hotel upheld it's policy.
