Breakfast disorganised

Liked: Our first stay at The Grand - overall excellent but I did feel that the staff were a little stretched particularly at Breakfast time. Wrong orders arriving, then next morning hot dishes arriving when still eating cereal. I actually felt for the staff as they were all lovely with one or two spot on but think they could have had more direction. The bar & Cyan were fabulous, wonderful cocktails and the most superb mussels!!!

Lovely hotel but could?ve done...

Liked: Such a beautiful hotel been meaning to visit for years. Staff were very nice, everything clean, room service was fab.
Disliked: Main complaint really was the tired room and a view consisting of a brick wall. This was after we?d told them it was our 20th wedding anniversary. Honestly not one to make a fuss but thought we?d at least be offered a free drink at the bar or a room upgrade. They even made a point of congratulating us when we arrived but that was it.
