Generally very good - pleasant...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Decor and atmosphere excellent.
Disliked: Lack of a hotel bar downstairs. The attached bar was good but very busy.

Less than impressed by this...

Liked: Location was excellent. The Irish bar, Japanese restaurant and cafe in the lobby are an asset. With live music every night while were there. It would have been improved by having a quiet cosy bar as every bar around the hotel was loud too.
Disliked: I was mislead to think that the picture of the bar on the web site was in the hotel not the loud Irish bar. The front of house staff were less than friendly. Not what you need after over 24 hour of traveling. The porters on the other hand were very helpful. I used the pool once but it was so cold I didn't endeavor to use it again. The door to the patio was fastened open so any warm air in the pool area was lost. We also tried to use the sauna one morning and found it hadn't been cleaned and towels restocked since the previous day. There were piles of dirty towels on the floor but no clean ones. We telephoned the reception but 30 mins later it still had not been replenished or cleaned. We spoke to the manager before going out for the day, he was less than helpful. We were paying for facilities that we couldn't use.
