Liked: Friendly bartender, general manager and front desk; room was clean and nice; enjoyed everything about our whole stay; we would definitely stay again and tell friends also.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The building had an excellent historic relevance and vibe.
Disliked: NA

Very poor

Liked: I like that the location was near where my 35th high School reunion was being held.
Disliked: I didn't like that the restaurant and bar were closed and that I paid $292 for the night and had a shower that was not clean. I had planned to eat in the restaurant before I went to the reunion. That was not a possibility. If that was not open I should not have had to pay that much money per night for the room that I stayed in which I could have probably paid a motel 6 $75 a night for the same accommodation. Very disappointed.

Liked: Very quaint hotel with spacious rooms and nice amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing. It was great.

Disliked: Specifically requested a late check in Fromm 11pm-12am. Confirmed. When we arrived, no one there to let us in. Us and 2 other couples were locked out for an hour. Person on staff was in attentive. Only way we got in was someone who was already checked in, returned to hotel and we could get in. Found our room key our self. Oour room was made up. One other couple room was never cleaned. Third couple didn’t even have room . Avoid the Gould. Suuuuucks

Liked: The building , the staff
Disliked: There was not enough breakfast supplies to maintain the time of the breakfast. The owner does not order enough supplies , and does not have the best interest of the patrons or the staff at hand .

Modern with a high end...

Liked: The Gould Hotel doesn't look like much from the outside. It is just an old brick building. But, the inside is very modern, clean and high end feel about it. The room was large, clean, very modern. Wooden floors, great lighting, and the bathroom was clean and newer. Way nicer than a normal hotel stay. Definitely will be a top pick next time we are in the area.

Don’t stay or book here...

Liked: Location. But it is in a ghost town so only 2/3 places open
Disliked: Got to the hotel were buzzed in my the receptionist, who was lovely but told us they have to keep the door locked so drunks don’t keep using the toilet…not a great welcoming sentence. She then mentioned how they’ve recently been sold and the current (past owners) don’t want to buy them so have no food or way of cooking anything, no current liquor licence and no occupancy certificate (should be in place to protect you and the hotel) which again is shocking to hear when you’re paying $350 a night and expecting the restaurant and level of food that was advertised.
