Liked: What's not to like? The Gore is steeped in history and the staff are excellent

Liked: So much history in this hotel. Proximity to Royal Albert Hall which is practically almost round the corner.
Disliked: Everything not modern which is expected of this type of hotel.

Location great for Albert hall....

Liked: Clean rooms, lovely hotel. Fabulous staff.

Tiny uncomfortable overpriced room

Liked: great staff, front bar is fun
Disliked: The smallest room i have ever (not) slept in. Tiny bed not suitable for two people. Lift didnt even go up to the floor.

Liked: Great location for the Royal Albert Hall
Disliked: Service at breakfast was poor. We had to ask three times for tea and coffee, twice for toast. One lady did not appear to speak English as when I asked a second time for coffee she walked off. They add 5% service charge to everything including the room rate plus breakfast that we paid to booking.com and said this was normal for all uk hotels. We have stayed in a lot of uk hotels and have never experienced this before?

A delightful experience

Liked: I loved the old fashioned decor. It was like living in another era! The staff were polite and treated you like you’re the centre of the universe. It was absolutely lovely and I’m thrilled that I had the opportunity to stay there.
Disliked: It did take a while for the water to heat up in the shower but nothing else.
