Just okay….served the purpose

Disliked: Literally ZERO activities nearby…we were there for 1 night at a Bushnell show. We had a studio-large room but hair all over bathroom floor when we checked in. No table for people sleeping on wall sides…only center table. If on wall side of bed, phone and water had to be on floor. (Easy fix with tiny side tables). Room very warm and unable to fix with temperature gauge.

Beautiful hotel, great location …...

Liked: We were in Hartford for a show at the XL Center and the location was great! The property itself was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Our room was right next to the elevator and it was very noisy, well into the early morning hours (1-2:00 AM) with the ding of the elevator door every time it arrived at the floor & with the guests talking animatedly. Also we could only watch the weather channel on our tv. I thought perhaps the remote was broken, but there wasn’t any data available in the guide and all the buttons on the remote were functioning. It was a smart tv but there was no way to connect to any our our streaming apps. I did not report this to the desk since we weren’t in the room for that long before heading out. The fan in the bathroom also didn’t work so it was very steamy after showering. On a convenience note, it was also sort of disappointing that there was no local information provided on where to eat or top things to do or even transportation options. We usually rely on the hotel binders or tourist guides to get us pointed in the right direction when we visit a new city.

Liked: The location was great and central. The decor was very nice.
Disliked: We specified this was a 10th anniversary trip and booked a king deluxe. They didn't give us one of the king deluxe rooms with fireplace....basically didn't really consider our experience at all when choosing our room. We also only had one bathrobe in the closet. The room had very little to offer. It was so small and only came with a safe and mini fridge. You could get more amenities at a chain hotel. The night staff was rude to us when we returned at night. We had ordered takeout to be delivered to the front desk for when we got back and told the delivery guy that...and then when we returned the front desk person shamed us and complained he had to call our room many times. No one asked him to do that we were ready to just retrieve our food and it was a big turn off to be greeted like that.
