Great hotel, great location, would...
Liked: The room was excellent. A great size and the bed was super comfy. There was zero noise from other guests or from the street. The sheets were great quality and the room furnishings were modern and tasteful. The curtains were blackout which helped keeping out the sun.The staff were super helpful and really friendly. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. It was really helpful having a small fridge and safe in the room too.
Disliked: Whilst it was clearly explained that the hotel didn’t have air con this did impact on the ability to sleep well. The tower fan was helpful but was inadequate to sufficiently cool the room down. Because we were in a basement room overlooking the main street it wasn’t appropriate to keep the windows open, so the room was very hot and stuffy.

Picture book London stay
Liked: Ideal location. Central, yet quiet and green, in a charming historical street. Excellent value for money for the breakfast menu as well - great quality of food and great choice, all served in a historic college building.
Disliked: Everything was great.

That’s my only gripe. Staff...
Liked: The manager rushed out to get me croissants which was lovely of him. Room a bit cramped, food ok. Shame no view. Certainly didn’t want to linger.
Disliked: See above

Bad
Disliked: Horrible experience. No aircon in oppressive conditions. Unsupportive/uncommunicative staff.

This could be a great...
Liked: Hotel is in a great location. I had a well equipped room with a comfortable bed. And I particularly appreciated the big fluffy white towels in the bathroom.
Disliked: The sash window (the only source of a fresh air during a very hot weekend) was broken and could not be opened to get more fresh air into the room. The hotel is actually three adjacent and attached buildings with internal connections between them. The sign-posting (directions) were poor so I often got lost when trying to find my room or when trying to exit the building.
