Liked: Good sized room, excellent lay-out, very clean. I had a good night sleep.

Liked: It was a Tuesday night and they started to set up outside our bedroom window from 5am. Although rar defenders were provided it was still loud.

Well worth a visit.

Liked: The Golden Lion was wonderful. Couldn't ask for more. Clean, comfortable room, fabulous shower, and even a decent sized TV! The evening meal was exceptional, and good value. Generous sized portions (good Yorkshire hospitality!) Breakfast was great too. The staff were pleasant to talk too and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be staying there again.

Liked: Room bright and airy, could have had a rail in the bath to ease getting into to use the shower. Clean and serviced every dayHeater and fan provided for both temperatures. Spacious.
Disliked: That there is no lift.
