Good

Comfortable and quiet stay at...

Liked: Comfortable and peaceful stay in an interesting older building. Welcome was warm and efficient on arrival. Plentiful free parking. We had R4 (Executive Twin/Double), and the firmer 6' Superking bed was very comfortable, room a good size with airy double height ceiling. Tower fan provided for warmer weather. Little road/traffic noise noticed during stay. We were attending a musical event at 'The Mead Hall', just around 7 mins walk away, so was very convenient for this purpose. Guests should also be aware that *no breakfasts are available at the property* (we knew this prior to arrival, so not an issue): we simply drove a few minutes up the road to The Mulberry Cafe at The Radway Bridge Garden Centre - which offers a decent selection of cooked breakfast options.
Disliked: Nice modern en-suite bathroom, but the hot water appeared to run out before one of our party could shower in the morning. Water pressure also slowed to a frigid trickle. Guessed that plumbing unable to cope with simultaneous guest baths/showers being run? Since we had somewhere to be, we were unable to wait to try later, which was a pity. Just unlucky with timing, we suppose. Tip: Shower early?

Liked: Nice big room. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Unfortunately very hot night with only a small fan. Only decaf coffee and no regular coffee in the room. The hand wash dispenser was empty.

Only stayed 1 night so...

Liked: Room and staff were great. Quirky hotel.
Disliked: Cant say i disliked anything. There are obvious improvements that need addressing but apart from that it was great

Liked: Great hosts, very friendly and accommodating, made me feel very welcome, definitely will stay here again.
Disliked: Not a lot

Superb

Liked: Great room. Very large and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom. Location was also very close to Hereford.

Well placed and convenient and...

Liked: The dragon outside my window.The shower.
Disliked: Breakfast was OK - ordered the night before and brought to room. It would have been better to have a choice of cereal and yohgury flavour. The microphone for the quiz in the bar was much too loud. Audible from my room, and horrible if you were actually in the bar.
