The place was unique and...

Liked: It’s a fascinating building and really quirky. It’s also set in a part of Wales that I’ve not been to before. The lady who was our point of contact was really helpful. The morning staff were lovely and made us a great breakfast.
Disliked: The rooms were absolutely freezing cold. The room is large and single glazed and would have been heated if the owner had not turned the thermostat (in the heated corridor outside the room) down to 15 degrees on a very cold night. By the time we got back from dinner and found the unbearably cold rooms it was impossible to get the space warm, despite the help received from the out of hours staff. So by 8:30pm we all went to bed instead of being able to share a nice evening together. I tried contacting the owners after my stay about this and got no response.
