Not to be recommended!

Liked: What a shambles! We waited to check in for 45 minutes, having arrived at the same time as a coach load of other tourists. We finally sat in the bar and had a drink while we waited. The staff were friendly enough and apologetic, but maybe the offer of a drink on the house might have been appropriate. We had a room in the attic with a sloping roof in the bathroom. You could not have a shower unless you crouched in the bath and even sitting in the bath upright was a challenge. The breakfast was below par, uninspiring and merely fuel food. It was an uncomfortable stay, probably one of the worst hotels we have ever staid in and we will not be returning.
Disliked: The long wait at reception, the uninspiring breakfasts, the inaccessible bath under a sloping roof!

Avoid the "Windsor Suite" annex.

Liked: Location great, bar and restaurant pleasant.
Disliked: Initially we were in the annex (very dated and stuffy, poorly decorated) in an uncomfortably small room with a tiny shower with a broken door, in a garret with loud mechanical noises from the loft. We asked to be relocated and had to wait til the next day. Twin beds not full sized. The new room was better. The receptionist was not as customer-oriented as would be expected. One evening the bar was manned by a girl who clearly didn't want to be there and in fact sprayed a customer sitting near the bar and made her displeasure with her lot very clear, banging, huffing, cleaning all evening. In the end we were laughing. But unprofessional.

Good but could improve.

Liked: the Glenmoriston is an old favourite and has a great location on the river.
Disliked: Unfortunately the hotel is in need of a makeover as everything is just a little tired.
