A good choice for a...

Liked: Good Central location and large car park, both easy to access. Nicely cooked breakfast with a good choice. The room had a large warm bathroom.
Disliked: The hotel stated that there was no lift so we knew we had to use stairs but they were quite demanding for an elderly person. The restaurant was expensive but good; the alternative piano bar could have offered a wider choice of dishes.

Friendly place in Inverness

Liked: Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice bedroom. Decent shower. Close to central Inverness for restaurants. Good value breakfast (less than cost of breakfast in town).

Pleasant

Liked: Good price for location, walkable to OVO and hydro
Disliked: Basement room - very noisy from above and water/drainage noise all night. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster - not enough staff or food. Had already requested vegetarian at check-in and told it would be no problem, initially told it would be a few min late for veggie sausages then told none available then after about 40min they appeared with veg option. Catering was not done well, we both had to go to the buffet around 4 times to actually get all of the components as they were constantly out of food. Guy at reception was on his phone, unbothered and unapologetic when we mentioned it. Waitress was very nice and attentive and apologised for delays etc, which was a saving point.

Comfortable, but then so is...

Liked: Great location, clean and presentable exterior
Disliked: The room felt cramped and limited tea and coffee in the room. The TV is small by normal standards today. The staff behind reception were both miserable looking and did not even welcome us or smile. All in all I would say this one step above a travel lodge or premier in experience but considerably more expensive.
