Liked: Comfy bed, clean, great price for what we needed. Easy to access. Allowed to check in early at last minute without any concern!

Liked: There was both a fan and an air conditioner in the room when there was very warm weather and the car park was very spacious.

Liked: Really great stay - I stay here every month or so for work and the staff are always fantastic. Brilliant host who always checks you in with kindness and great cleanliness (the cleaner is always such sweetheart and does such a great job!!) Will always continue to stay here.

Disliked: Noise from the road... A very hot day, so the air-conditioning did Stirling service.

Bookings Lies

Liked: The 7 Stars pub down the road.
Disliked: The whole experience at The Gisson's was well below par... there was no restaurant or bar.. Luckily there was a friendly little English pub down the street which was a Gem, full of friendly locals, good beer and great food.. As for the Oyo...wouldn't rate it at all. Room was hot, small and uncomfortable. The bathroom is in desperate need of plumbing maintenance. The mobile air-conditioning unit was louder than a Royles Roice gas turbine engine and leaked waterThe toilet seat was broken and ghe shower leaked.. The outside of the building and garden is badly neglected and in desperate need of work. Nothing like the photo on ghd Bookkngs site. All in all, Bookings should be ashamed of even having this dump on their list. Don't waste your money booking this dive.. overall 1/10
