Just 1 mi from the M5 motorway The Gissons Hotel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas free parking. Exeter Airport is a short drive away. Our mattresses have 660 pocket springs in a 5-Zone system which allows for the weight of the mattress to adjust with the movement of your body while sleeping. In addition to this we use 700gsm bath towels and 350gsm duvets and linen. All the rooms at the Gissons have a TV and stylish private bathrooms. Exeter is only 5 miles away and the coast is within easy reach. Torquay is within a 15-minute drive.

Excellent

Liked: Everything met our expectations, immaculate, quiet, off street parking, the manager extremely helpful, giving us information about the area & the best place to park in Exeter.
Disliked: No internet service due to someone hitting a pole on the day before Easter, which meant nothing was going to be sorted before Tuesday. Not the hotels fault.

Liked: Booked a deluxe room for the night, nice, quiet and comfortable, the bar was closed which wasn't a problem, the only issue we had was that there was no wifi throughout the entire stay
Disliked: No wifi

Hotel is comfortable for a...

Liked: The hotel is simple but comfortable. However we tried to move our dates and every phone number we were given took us to an automated phone system which always hangs up after no help. Can’t get hold of anyone. So we only ended up using the hotel for 2 hours as we weren’t staying over. We put the request to change in a few days before the stay.
