Loved it, would stay again...

Liked: Location, staff & rooms
Disliked: I couldn’t make a cup of tea, either the kettle had a special way of getting it on or it didn’t work. I didn’t ask the staff though so they might’ve been very helpful.

Good stay in general

Liked: Great area. Close to everything. Room very clean and spacious. Lovely views. Relaxation area was lovely. Staff very friendly.
Disliked: Shower was not great, running hot and cold, lighting not great in room. Balcony areas are not very private.

Not the best experience but...

Liked: The room itself was okay apart from rubbish on the balcony.Bar service was good and nice food.
Disliked: Noisy due to cranes and other outside noise.Reception staff not great nor helpful.They didn’t charge me properly on check in and couldn’t print a receipt.Delayed leaving sort miss charge on room that took ages to sort and then problems with the card machine.

Disappointing stay

Liked: Good location, easy to get to from the city centre. Lots of choice for breakfast buffet
Disliked: On check in and arrival to our room I noticed hairs on the bed and a bloodstain on the mattress protector. Very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The reception did end up moving me rooms after I stated I would not be happy with a simple bedding change, I did not trust the room had been cleaned properly. The new room was ok but did have a damp smell from the shower and the floor seemed dusty. I have stayed in this hotel before and had no issues so I was disappointed.
