The pros outweighed the cons here. Great ambiance in a very clean room. Breakfast buffet for 3 hours. Very comfy beds. Recommended.
Liked: Clean; friendly staff; good food; comfy bed.
Disliked: Water pressure low. Phone didn't work.

Room was overpriced, small and somewhat awkwardly laid out. Bedding was great. Service was good. Won't rush back.

We were given a room that was already occupied. I opened the door with the door key and there were people in the bed. How embarrassing this was for us and also the people in the room. All we received was a I am sorry. You would have thought that we would have been given a free dinner or even a free night stay in the hotel.

Liked: The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was immaculate. When we walked in there was jazz music playing & a personal welcome letter just for me. The room was fresh & clean. The bed was so comfortable. I could go on & on. I Highly recommend.

Liked: The Hotel was in a nice location.
Disliked: The bathroom was a tad dirty and the water pressure was not very good.

Convenient and comfortable!
Liked: The location was a 5 minute walk to the casino. There’s a pizza place right next door that’s open late. We didn’t know where to park when we arrived so inquired inside and the staff was so helpful, showed us where to park and gave us an extra parking pass because we had two cars. We had the jacuzzi suite. The bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and a bonus!

Liked: The location was within walking distance of the main attractions. The breakfast had a nice variety and was warm & fresh.
Disliked: The room was poorly lit and not very big for a king room. There was no overhead lights & one of the three lamps was broken. It would have also been nice to have a microwave in the room.

My trip was wonderful, despite...
Liked: I loved the breakfast! It was delicious every single day! I loved the cook Coco as she was very friendly and sweet. I loved the night clerk Austin, as he was very knowledgable of the area and eager to assist and help us. Especially since we checked in very early in the morning.
Disliked: When I booked the room I had stated that we would be checking in around 1:30am on the 25th. My room was rented from the 25th - 28th. I was told that it wouldn't be an issue at all, however when I arrived Austin (the night clerk) had trouble finding my room due to us checking in so early, but he accommodated us and just told us to see Jessica in the morning, that he was sorry for the confusion and that even though I would initially be charged for an extra night, it would be refunded. When I talked to Jessica the next morning she was very rude and raised her voice to me as if I had done something wrong. She let me know that it didn't matter what I had been told through messaging about it being fine to check in at 1:30 in the morning I should have booked the room for the 24th as well. I was simply trying to let her know that the reason I sent the message asking if it would be ok was to avoid the confusion. She rudely informed me "that's why you should have just called the hotel directly." I had to walk away. From what I was told she is rude and hateful to just about all the staff and accuses guests of lying all the time. I pray that she finds her peace.Also we rented a room with a whirlpool tub....the room was pretty awesome, however the jets in the tub didn't work. Rather than deal with the hateful Jessica again. I just dealt with it :( Unfortunately if I come back to Niagara Falls I will not be staying at the Giacomo for these reasons. Also the views aren't the greatest from the hotel rooms. I suppose the Airbnb customers/tenants/offices get the best views.

Not quite “luxury” but would...
Liked: Staff were excellent and location can’t be beat. We parked the car and walked everywhere including over the Rainbow Bridge into Canada. Our king room was on the corner and very spacious. Sky lounge on the 19th floor has outstanding view of the Niagara River and surrounding city.
Disliked: Some of the amenities did not work. The fireplace and refrigerator were broken. The room was clean enough but needed a thorough dusting. Carpet in the room was ripped and there’s only one luggage cart for the entire hotel.

Superb
Liked: Loved the enclosed rooftop lounge. The hotel was beautifully decorated.
Disliked: Walking across the street for parking in the rain.
