The pros outweighed the cons here. Great ambiance in a very clean room. Breakfast buffet for 3 hours. Very comfy beds. Recommended.

Liked: Clean; friendly staff; good food; comfy bed.
Disliked: Water pressure low. Phone didn't work.

Room was overpriced, small and somewhat awkwardly laid out. Bedding was great. Service was good. Won't rush back.

We were given a room that was already occupied. I opened the door with the door key and there were people in the bed. How embarrassing this was for us and also the people in the room. All we received was a I am sorry. You would have thought that we would have been given a free dinner or even a free night stay in the hotel.

Excellent location & great staff....

Liked: A great location for seeing the Falls & Niagara Falls State Park. Easy access to surrounding Canadian & NY state wine & tourist sites. Staff were great, breakfast was above par, bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The room was very dark with poor lighting. Claims to be a “green” hotel, but no recycling. Only provided 1 bath towel and washcloth per person. Room cleanliness was not great, clumps of hair in shower and on bathroom floor, stain on white comforter, carpet looked dingy. No room safe for passports.

Liked: The location was great - close to Niagara which is why we stayed there. All the staff were friendly
Disliked: The room was moldy and the carpet stained and torn in many spots - water dripped from the air conditioner onto the carpet so I’m thinking that’s where the moldy smell came from

Liked: The building was charming, the old rustic building decor was beautiful.
Disliked: The old rustic building definitely smelled rustic. Not overwhelming but you can smell the history.
