The pros outweighed the cons here. Great ambiance in a very clean room. Breakfast buffet for 3 hours. Very comfy beds. Recommended.

Liked: Clean; friendly staff; good food; comfy bed.
Disliked: Water pressure low. Phone didn't work.

Room was overpriced, small and somewhat awkwardly laid out. Bedding was great. Service was good. Won't rush back.

We were given a room that was already occupied. I opened the door with the door key and there were people in the bed. How embarrassing this was for us and also the people in the room. All we received was a I am sorry. You would have thought that we would have been given a free dinner or even a free night stay in the hotel.

Liked: The hotel has a luxurious 1920s vibe. With an amazing catered breakfast. We were less than a 5 minute walk to the falls and minutes from several restaurants.

Liked: Our stay at The Giacomo was wonderful! The location is perfect, with free parking that made everything so convenient. Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, with thoughtful touches like robes after a shower. Breakfast was free and delicious, a great way to start the day. The highlight was watching the fireworks from upstairs—an unforgettable experience! We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Liked: Within walking distance from everything Niagara (and I’m not a walker!). Bed was comfortable, bathroom, spacious. Bar downstairs was nice. Watching fireworks from the sky lounge was nice, but this is not a bar, even though for some reason, it sounded like it in their description.
Disliked: Very old building. A/C struggled the whole time; although it’s obvious they’re trying to be an elite hotel, It really was not. Did not feel the accommodations matched the prices at all. Breakfast was what you’d get at a hotel chain.

Liked: The staff was very accommodating, really friendly, helpful and kind. The room was huge, clean, comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The location was great, about 30 minutes to the Niagara Falls by foot. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby too. The bed was very comfortable. A refrigerator served for our comfort. Breakfast was nice, hot options (omelet, sausage etc.) as well as self-made gofri and yoghurt. I loved the private parking space.
Disliked: Wi-fi has no password.
