Smart rooms but hotel lacks...

Liked: Smart and cosy rooms with a boutique feel.
Disliked: Public areas a bit ordinary (breakfast space and reception)

Liked: I liked the style of the hotel
Disliked: I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness we had to move rooms due to a lot of cob webs in the ceiling above our bed scattered around the entire room it was horrible. the receptionist kindly moved us rooms however we felt like it was still very dusty. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and it was quite damaged.

Lovely stay, peaceful.

Liked: Clean, great decor, welcoming. Not great directions to room- got a bit lost in the maze!
Disliked: Breakfast- should include hot not just continental given the price. Paid extra for breakfast and had 2 slices of toast because porridge would have been even more, which given it already cost £15 makes no sense. WiFi password would have been useful since couldn’t use the QR code on my laptop so used my phone hotspot instead.

Liked: The comfort & cleanliness of the room, friendliness & efficiency of staff, the chocolate welcome treat under a little glass dome.
Disliked: It would be helpful to have a shelf to put clothes on in the wardrobe

Good location,

Liked: Nicely furnished, comfortable, clean and nice touches with tea, coffee, milk and little snacks for rooms.
Disliked: Had 2 rooms of same standard but one much smaller than the other - which is a bit odd. Breakfast was an extra, and including a simple cold buffet as part of the price for booking.com customers would make this so much better value (and justify extra cost of the budget chains)
